PM has announced to withdraw 17 percent GST on Solar Panel System as imposed by the PTI government. He said that alternate energy sources for power generation must be encouraged because that is the only way forward to reduce the country’s oil import bill.
Prime Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif held a meeting with Karachi industrialists and businessmen during his visit to Karachi and discusses key issued of economy.
“Announcing the immediate abolition of 17pc duty on solar panels, the prime minister stressed the need for a compulsory solar geyser policy for every household,”
said IN a statement issued by the PM House after the meeting.
Calling for the construction of IT towers across the country, the prime minister emphasised the need for a transparent and coordinated policy to establish exports industrial zones providing free land to the exporters through one-window operations.
