The Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) will conduct Class I to VIII examinations

The Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) has proposed to conduct Class I to VIII examinations in government schools in the first week of May. The examinations of class 1 and class 2 will be oral while the exams for class III to VIII According to the details, a schedule has been prepared for the examinations of class I to VIII. The examinations will continue throughout the month. Question papers (soft form) will be mailed and schools will prepare question papers out of these questions.

According to the policy of the PEC, there will be fifty marks in the examinations while the remaining fifty marks will be given on the basis of winter work. Final approval of the examination schedule will be given at the CEO (DEA) Conference on February 9, 2021:

  1. PEC will provide all Question Papers from G-1 to G-8 in soft form as Item Bank.
  2. All Papers will be MCQs only.
  3. All Papers are of 50 marks.
  4. 50 marks for the current Home-work in Each Subject.
  5. The exam of G-1 and G-2 will be orally.
  6. The exam of G-5 and G-8 will be scheduled from 15 to 30 April.
  7. The other exams of Elementary wing will be scheduled from 1st to 10 May.
  8. The Training for paper development will also be scheduled from 15 to 30 April.
  9. Each Head will develop own Question Papers from the given Item Bank.
  10. All teachers have to complete ALP Syllabus up to 15 April.
  11. Result Report Cards will be issued to each student after 10 May.
  12. In result Report Card, marks of each subject will be 100.
  13. The Matric Exam is scheduled from 5 May
