There is no provision in Educational Boards Act to promote students without examination. Amendment in Act is necessary for this purpose.
According to details received Ministry of Law raised objection on the Summary prepared by Ministry of Education to promoted students of Secondary and Higher Secondary School Students without examination due to Covid-19 Pandemic. Ministry of Law further added that if it is necessary to promote students without examination an amendment may be earlier in Boards Act.
There are 2.5 million students of 9 Educational Boards across the province (Punjab) who will be promoted to next higher classes.
