Arrangements made for Tourists Visiting Murree on Eid-ul-Fitr
Keeping in view the worst conditions last winter as hundreds of peoples were trapped in snow and 22 people lost their lives. As a result, over 15 senior officials including the Rawalpindi commissioner, the deputy commissioner, and the city police officer were fired.
According to Meteorological Office heavy rains and gusty winds are predicted during the Eid holidays this year. So district administration has working to facilitate tourists with hassle-free visits. To coup tourists better some arrangement have been made including:
- Visitors will not be allowed to part vehicles outside parking lots and cooking on the roadside will be prohibited as well.
- Peoples need to be more responsible with traffic plans to avoid inconvenience.
- Special teams have been assigned to resolve public issued and the assistant commissioner will ensure there are no clashed between the local residents and visitors.
- Water shortage and sanitation issues will also be address
- Complaint desks against hotels overcharging have been set up in Murree.
